my village

 Papannapet or Papannapeta (Telugu: పాపన్నపేట) is a Mandal in Medak district ofAndhra Pradesh, India. It is bounded by Sankarampet, Tekmal, Kulcharam and Medakmandals of Medak district and Nizamabad district. Papannapet is located at18.0333°N 78.1000°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 445 metres (1463 ft).

  • Total Population: 50,563 in 10,065 Households.
  • Male Population: 25,114 and Female Population: 25,449
  • Children Under 6-years of age: 7,296 (Boys - 3,710 and Girls - 3,586)
  • Total Literates: 16,221

Once upon a time.the papannapet village name also called as "సమాస్తానం పాపన్నపేట".because this village was rulled by Grate Queen Shankaramma(శంకరమ్మ ).by taking the captial of this village she rulled some villages.Know we can findout some gadi's(గడి ),కోటలు ,hills in this village.
Edupayala Durga Bhavani temple

There is famous Edupayala Vana Durga Bhavani temple at Nagasanpalli. Edupayala jatara is considered to be the second largest congregation of devotees after the Sammakka-Sarakka jatara in Telangana region. It has been accorded state festival last year.[4]
